The Boeing July 2021 delivery list is showing a KC-46A going to the USAF. Planespotters.net lists 19-46059 as being delivered in August, but nothing in July. I haven't noticed anything about a July delivery elsewhere. Has anyone got any details please, in particular a delivery date (if it was 46059) and receiving unit. TIA

21-46059 may well have been handed over at Boeing in July.

It made the journey to 56ARS/97AMW Altus on 06/08/2021 as "RUIN99".

My understanding is that at least 4 FY19's have been diverted to FY21. Amongst those are 46057 - 46060. So in this case this should have tail 16059.

Charles

It does indeed carry 16059 on the tail

I hadn't heard that, but I have been seeing SATCOM messages using the FY prefix of "1" (instead of "9") in the tail code.....which would figure

Corrected above (and Page 1).

Boeing's schedule of orders and deliveries for August 2021 is quite a short read, but interestingly records the delivery of 3 KC-46As to the USAF. I'm not sure I've seen those reported elsewhere (with dates, identities and receiving units) but I could easily have missed them.

Three may have been handed over (= delivered in Boeing's eyes), but only the above 16059 reached a unit base in August.

That was my conclusion Bob, though in the past the gap between hand-over/ delivery and the physical relocation to a base from Seattle has tended to have been not much more than a week or 10 days, as with 16059, and it has been quite easy to match “deliveries” to the respective flights out. Here it is now three weeks plus for these three frames.

I note the three KC-46As supporting the SJ deployment today (as Clean03/13/23) and flying Pease - Pease are showing as 76026/76029 and 76034. Of these 029 and 034 are shown in the list on page 1 of this thread as NH ANG machines based at Pease, but 026 is noted as 22ARW out of McConnell. Just wondering whether the last mentioned might have swapped?

Thanks Bob. A pity they didn’t make the crossing though at least they are now beginning to get involved with deployments, particularly Coronet Easts.

The two McGuire delieries were, respectively, the 49th and 50th to the USAF.

Think that it must have been only the four (46057-46060) that were transferred to FY21.

46061 to 46065 (so far) all seem to be FY19.
