While ADSB/trackers are showing 46067 and 46070 as 15-, aren't they actually 19-? Or is something really weird going on with FY allocations?

It's what has been reported based on their actual tail numbers. And, yes, there is a bit of swapping of FYs going on.

Can I ask you number guys a question. I was at Prestwick last week and saw a couple of 46's on the ground. They had numbers on the tail 76033 and 86502, which generally means there is another number in front of these to denote the fiscal year, IE 17-6033 and 18-6052. However I'm seeing info on the web that they have an additional numeral "4" between the fiscal year and the 4 remaining digits, to give us17-46033, 18-46052. This obviously looks like it is in connection with the aircraft being a KC 46. Is this the airframes true serial/registration number, or is it just something done to highlight the "46" as it is a KC46?

Year 17
KC-46 46
Aircraft number 033
17-46033

regards true serial number thats a bone of contention (well to some)
in that its serial number or MSN=Manufactures serial number (construction number) for this particular air frame is 34113 (this will never change in theory) the USAF serial/tail number/ship number registration could change for all sorts of reasons

I see that Boeing has booked 2 KC-46A deliveries to the USAF in its April 2022 report. I assume therefore that we can expect a couple more fly aways from Boeing Field any time now. The last ones I've seen reported were on March 18th.

Just for the record...

You may want to check [AE5FAE] and [AE63B1]
Looks like delivery yesterday (May 20)

Indeed. Thank you.

[AE5FAE] = 15-46067 to McConnell as TOTAL46
[AE63B1] = 15-46069 to McGuire as PUDGY07.

15-46066 has just left BFI as BACKY41, presume on delivery. Just two new ones left here now, 56068 and 56070. N462KC and N464KC are still outside the Hangar at the north end.

Didn't 46066 go to Seymour on the 18th March?
