Sentinel to fly again?

Post by reaper493 » Wed Nov 17, 2021 7:18 am

No, not for the RAF......

https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/british ... -scrapped/

One was moved in to 5 hangar yesterday, couldn't see which one.

ZJ694 is still parked near the wave, 690 I think is still in 3 hangar, possibly already prepping for flight? The others I'm not sure on as the road to the south has been closed off for sometime with water works.

Interestingly the piece gives reference to the disposal contract which includes "Note these aircraft are not for reuse"

Indeed!

I thought they had been stripped of all useful parts, and possibly even the engines as they are/were all secured to concrete blocks.
