Which of course shows that they were not serialled directly from their FMS serials, so 17-015 did not become QA515 etc.

about 3rd msg down incls a link to Qatar youtube plus some pics in some of the other msgs

A comparison of the camouflage demarcation lines shows some similarities which could tie up to these.......

QA501 possibly 17-006 from camo
QA503 possibly 17-014 from camo, now in special marks
QA505 possibly 17-013 from camo

This makes sense Tommc as these were the first 3 delivered, I think the US serials do tie up with the c/n's 17-006 being QA06, 17-019 being QA19 ect, so when a list comes out we should be able to cross refer the c/n to the Qatari serial. Unlike the Saudi jets which I have no c/n's for.
