“Some speculated that it was a British Airways plane but it was in fact the RAF Voyager with a Union Jack emblazoned on it. The aircraft, Airbus A321, is used by the Prime Minister, cabinet ministers or members of the royal family when making short trips”

It’s a shame that they hadn’t agreed a defence deal 10 years ago with the proviso that they sent some of their phantastic phantoms over here on excercise for a while!

Simple - never, ever read the Daily Mail "news"paper and never clickbait a Daily Mail link. Works for me.

Crikey, we had a Canadian Herc over the Borders this morning, I better inform the Southern Reporter, and supply them with a pic of an An12. :D

We can’t be too far off reading a headline along the lines of ‘Plane Spotted In The Sky’

I think the Plymouth Herald got there last week

Royal Naval Warship armed with missiles spotted off Plymouth.

Yet again, the very fact that such on-line newspapers write silly headlines, gets readers to click on the link, and therefore results in "page views". Or gets people talking about them, i.e. spreading their name, which means, yet again, they have achieved their aim - and won.

100% and they then show their readership and click figures to advertisers who see millions reading the garbage and pour more advertising money in. Best approach is to ignore all bait and not buy the rag.
