RH226 R.I.P

Post by slogen51 » Sun Aug 14, 2022 10:07 am

Just heard the incredibly sad news this morning that RH226 Bob Harris has recently passed away.

I for one will miss his insightful posts .

Not sure if I ever met him in person although I understand he was a frequent visitor to Mildenhall and stayed in a caravan but I feel from his massive contribution to FC that I had met him in a strange way.

Posts by RH226 were always a first port of call and worth reading and I shall miss them.

Have to agree, he was very knowledgeable about many subjects, in the aviation world, and will be sadly missed.

Very sad news indeed, I know he lost his wife not so long ago.

We will miss him...he will still be logging things but from a different perspective.

RIP Bob

I’m sure I met him years ago at the Hall. It’s been many years since I visited . Very sad. Blue skies sir.

I’m sure he’s still logging aircraft from the clouds 😉
