Neither. This notion of such names is ridiculous and unnecessary.

Could be worse. Could have had one named during the John Major or Gordon Brown years.

Or maybe just "Royal Air force One" , "RAF one", "United Kingdom One" or "UK One"?
Please let's not inflate the egos of either of the unelected Prime minister.

Why "one"? The Prime Minister is not the head of state.

Only the Queen uses 01, eg "Kittyhawk 01 Romeo" "Rainbow 1 Romeo", etc.

More like Gravy Train One?

The sooner those alleged to be running the country got their heads in the game and start sorting out (in no particular order):
The NHS
The Fuel Poverty crisis
Defence of the Realm
Rail Strikes
Tube Strikes
Container Port Strikes
potential Royal Mail strikes

I could go on the a long while, although I think you get my drift. There are more important things in life for the majority than this folks.

Please feel free to differ - that's democracy, so enjoy it while you can.

PS
Since I'm well over 21 I hope I'm allowed to be a grumpy old person.

The average rail worker earns an average of £40,000 a year. Train drivers earn £60,000 a year average. Mick Lynch simply does not want ANY modernization of the rail network. I suspect that we are the only country in Europe that employs a person to make sure the doors are shut on a train!!!. There is a machine that takes 70,000 pictures an hour of rail tracks to ensure that they are safe, but Lynch insists that they must be checked manually by his members walking the tracks!!. He insists that the railways make NO progress whatsoever in the future!!. Don't get me started on the rest. I have a friend who has just retired as a Senior ICU Sister, who tells me that nurses starting pay is pretty damned good these days. The Government's coffers are virtually empty, but everybody wants more money. FROM WHERE!!!!!. Get real!. We have to stabilise inflation by NOT demanding more in these difficult times. Rant over.... for now.

Do you think maybe we should all go in to work tomorrow and demand our employers give us a wage cut to help out in the current crisis?

Toom. Of course not. :S If you read my post again, I simply suggested that we not demand more!. However, I'm an O.A.P. who doesn't actually need his heating allowance, and would happily forgo it to help the country back on it's feet!!.

Yip, people in this country have a short memory. Just over 2 years ago the majority were sent home on 80% of their salary. Didn’t hear many then moaning that they were getting paid to do nothing, some workers enjoyed that for over 12 months. They were told on day one that that money would need to be paid back and times would be hard for sometime once the pandemic passed. All that seems to be conveniently forgotten by the Unions. As Raptor says increased pay raises will only fuel the inflation fire.

As a NHS worker myself it annoys me that when the Unions and Media use a nurses salary for an argument. They again conveniently only use the basic salary at the straight out of training pay point. They forget that the majority of nurses work shifts and therefore get enhanced pay or gain extra qualifications which in turn pushes them up the pay bandings. A Ward nurse with 5 years post training experience and no specialist qualifications can realistically expect to earn £45000.
