perhaps that is why i don't post questions or comment's along with a lot of other members.
we don't all have time to be on here all day everyday like a few people.
i asked a question, a moderator has said its not sensitive, if you know, please answer,(as i am sure a lot of others would like the general information), if you don't know please keep quiet!
as said before, we publish serial numbers etc for everything else that is not deployed, even track them and give the serials when they go (cyprus recently and red flag).

More specifically, 17 squadron has ZM135, 138 and 165 at Edwards, CA, and ZM170 at Patuxent River, MD. ZM136 is/was at Ogden ALC (Hill AFB), UT for mods. I don't have any information for anything other than the RAF F-35Bs, however the frames currently in the states are:
ZM135, ZM136, ZM138, ZM165, ZM170 and ZM171.
There's rumours that early airframes will be "de-wired" and sent over to RAF Marham to join the main fleet whilst 17sqn will receive newer TR-3 airframes. (ZM170+)

I don't know definitively, but I think the TR-3 issues they had knocked onto the whole production process. There were close to 100 airframes built and then being stored pending delivery. Do you know what the reason is for a delay with ZM172 onwards? It's been around a year since the last British ones came off the production line, which even for British F-35 delivery standards is very slow.
Was it due to the Tech-Refresh 3 build?
