Hello Matt,as well as a water trap being fitted to the compressor, before I start using the airbrush I disconnect it from the pipe, hold my thumb over the pipe end , turn on the compressor and allow the pressure to build up then release my thumb.You will probably see a fair amount of water expelled from the end of the pipe that may have collected after the last time it was used.Do this a couple of times then reconnect the brush and have a go.Alternatively I think you can get a water trap that will fit onto the airbrush itself hopefully eliminating all water problems although possibly making the brush more unwieldy.
