Post by viper3111 » Thu Feb 04, 2010 2:21 pm

As I am doing a Rafale for my next project I thought I would share any sites/pictures that I find or am given (cheers Rob). It also keeps them in one place so I can find them when I need them :lol:

As I work through my show projects, and hobby in general I will continue to share any sites that I come across for detailing/information.
Here is a couple of sites for the super etendard;

http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/luc_c ... php?Page=1

http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/A ... alk523.htm

As I find more I will add a section with an index just for specific aircraft so it will be easy to find what we are looking for :thumb:

Further to the above, the Martin Baker site is also a very useful resource with excellent photos and diagrams.

Got my copy from Amazon today, £9.99 delivered, & it is up to the usual standard of these rather good SAM publications. :cool:

Put together once more by Andy Evans, this 66 page A4 size softback book covers all the current users of the mighty 'Phoon, & features all colour photos, line drawings, & excellent "walk around" shots, thus providing another "must have " reference book for aviation enthusiasts & model makers alike. :)

An absolute steal at a tenner delivered, the ISBN number is; 978-1-906959-05-0

Highly recommended :thumb:

i found this about a year ago and use it for a large chunk of refrence material towards builds

pretty much every military aircraft you can think of http://www.primeportal.net/the_airstrip.htm includes jet's, Prop's (A400M has just been added) and Helicopters

A good, and growing series of high print quality reference books (NB, full disclosure - I'm involved with them as one of the photo team..) are the Duke Hawkins series from HMH Publications. The series are available from Hannants and a few other retailers in the UK. We've just released titles on the Harrier and MiG-31. Others in the series include Mirage 2000, Mirage F1, F-18 legacy Hornet, F-16, Viggen, Hercules, MiG-29, Tornado, Typhoon & Jaguar as well as special titles on the Dark Falcon and the Spanish carrier Juan Carlos 1 and we have further titles in the pipeline.
