ZJ914 Aggressor at Lossiemouth

Currently in the 'paint shop' is my 1:48 Revell based impression of Typhoon ZJ914 in the new Aggressor livery. Something different to overall grey.
I say impression rather than accurate model as decals etc made up from the spares bin. I am trying to achieve a realistic impression of what the new aggressor looks like. I am reasonably pleased so far. Still a good bit to do but I think it will look pretty good beside the other Typhoons displayed on the hall wall.

Hi Chris

Well done coming along well

Cant say I am a fan of the scheme though , sorry :( I think they could have done better than put in in a "training" scheme ...each to their own

Look forward to seeing it finished :pop: :pop:

Cheers

The main serial on the aircraft is light grey and not white as you seem to have it, the 914 at the top of the fin is standard white as per normal grey jets. .

Hi
Serial on body is actually grey/silver on model. White on tail. Not perfect as I think the body ones are a little big but ok. Will just be my camera on phone making it look white.

I know what you mean about livery but anything a bit different from the 'corporate' grey. Particularly now that squdron marks are dusappearing. Loved the camouflage G OA livery and have a model of that. Now that did look good.

Think it captures a reasonable impression of the real aircraft.
