Re: 1/32 Advanced, F16 122fw, Opinions please
Nic,
I'm not fond of the scheme (no offence) but it looks like you have done a really nice job of building this up, looks one of your best to date. Well done mate.

Re: 1/72 Intermediate-Advanced - Mig 29 UB - Updated 08/02/10
Morning all!!
Sorry for the lack of updates on my Mig! I have been building a Airfix 1/72 Stirling for a Wing model competition tomorrow! Im glad to say that I have just finished it now and will be cracking on with my Mig sharpish!! I have done the odd bit to her when the Stirling was a bit to much but I will get an update sorted!!
Thanks all!

Re: 1 32 Advanced (ha ha) Revell Harrier GR1
Thank you to Gary for the Decals.
Better get cracking on this now, running out of time. I am also running out of time to get this assignment in but, hey, priorities. Model it is
To be honest I cant wait to get this thing finished now. Its been a pain in the Wish I had the Guatemalan Mustang earlier

Looks good Nick,
See if you can get hold of any large blue paper ina roll or black (usually Staples do it) as this would really set the photos off! Are you happy with the kit? Whilst I am not too keen on the scheme the build looks fantatsic and you have done a cracking job - What is next?

Re: 1/32 Advanced, F16 122fw, FINISHED
Cheers everyone , I'll try and sort some paper out soon hopefuly . It was a great kit to build but then again it was £60's ish . I'm over the moon how its come out its easily the best model i've built and the longest 4 months on and off , Big improvement on early models i built if you ask stingrays4 . My next model will be a 1/72 phantom which stingrays4 gave me for my birthday . I hope theres another comp soon as it was quite good fun .
Re: 1/32 Advanced, F16 122fw, FINISHED
Will the F-4 be in Lakenheath markings for our group build?
I was thinking of doing another competition soon, but I wasnt sure of the set up. Im more than happy to sort out the prizes again if we have some good interest.

Re: 1/72 Intermediate-Advanced - Mig 29 UB - Updated 08/02/10
Evening all!!
Quick update tonight. I had some log in issues that have been sorted so can now post!!
Well my Mig has come along nicely now and is very close to being finished!!
I now have her painted up in a wee bit of a different camouflage, I have attached the Gear doors and struts, finished the weapons and attached the drop tanks. Next up is finishing some little details and getting the ground/base sorted.
Here are a few shots! As always comments welcome fellas!!
These shots show the camo I went for...
I added a pinstrip black line to add to the camo...
Camo finished and ready for some weathering etc...
Just a sneaky peak at the base...
As posted I was building a Short Stirling (Airfix 1/72) just a few pics of her...
Should have some more for you soon....
Thanks for looking!!!
