Aircraft outside the Horizon Hangars

Post by Al dunn » Thu May 26, 2016 8:11 pm

Hi All

After spending two weeks at St Athan,

I noticed a few airframes outside the Horizon Hangars at the Village end of the airfield.

Does anyone have an id for any of them please

There was a

Jet provost
Hunter possibly only rear fuselage
Two Pembrokes, one blue and white, and one red and white

Regards

Al

Hi Al,

The best thing I can do is refer you to http://cardiffstathan.blogspot.co.uk/p/ ... mally.html.

Here you will find photos of most of the aircraft with Horizon Aircraft Services. I regret that there are more than one of each of the Hunter/Sea Prince/Jet Provost (or Strikemaster) there and your memory of colours, position, etc. will serve you best.

Regards,

Bob
