Hi all,
Noted whilst driving past this afternoon was the twin seat Dutch Air Force Hunter, aswell as G-JMGP L-39 ex German Air Force? Both visible outside
Many ex RAF Hawks are stored infront of the same hangar where the above two aircraft are, possible for spares to get one or two flying?
Cheers Andy
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....
Dutch Air Force Hunter & L-39
Re: Dutch Air Force Hunter & L-39
I understand Hawk XX342, ex ETPS has been allocated G-HAWC.
Dutch Hunter is G-BWGL, in for maintenance.

Re: Dutch Air Force Hunter & L-39
Was featured in recent Warbird Workshop restoration programme
The Hunter was silver/dayglo with Dutch makings N-321 on the nose.
My recollection from the programme was the the L-39 came from either Latvia/Lithuania, not sure of it''s origins earlier than that but previous history may be listed on G-INFO for G-JMGP
The ex-RAF Hawks were covered mainly in green plastic sheeting but only noticed them in general views rather than specifically featured to confirm their i.d's
Perhaps others could kindly confirm please
