No worries Jamie. Also, if people haven't seen this before I recommend a look at it. I use it to see what other moddellers have done with their builds, particuarly with things like weathering. The list of aircraft is huge!

Hi All,

Well once the T-45 Goshawk is out of the way, I've got for the Airfix Devastator - myself and my 4 year old are building this one, get him into building! We've almost finished a Spitfire Mk I in US colours, will post it in the gallery soon.

Image

Anyone built one of these? A quick look at the kit shows great detail, even can have the wings folded!

Cheers

Apologies all for my absence on this one.

I will be entering something shortly but may be half way through the GB build time due to other `commitments`. (ie, I`ve over extended myself on GB`s...   )

Keep up the good work all, I`m enjoying watching all the ideas. :thumb:

I built one several months ago along with a Buffalo (my skills weren't up to much at the time). You should be able to find it in the Gallery.

It's a decent kit and that goes together fine - the wing joints need a bit of work if I remember right. The hardest part to put together is the greenhouse canopy.

I cant believe the guy organises a GB and then doesn't build anything! Poor standards imo!

As you may (or may not! ) have noticed, I've been almost absent from the board recently. Work this year is pretty heavy, and I've got to prioritise. So unfortunately I'm out of this one.

I'll do my hardest to get something done for the FC comp though!

Hope to get my build going by the start of December and I`m planning something thats a little different from the norm, but isn`t breaking the GB rules... ;)

With Christmas upon us we are very nearly 2/3rds the way through this GB with just over a month to go. :thumb:

If you haven`t started your build, it`s time to start playing catch up chaps. ;)

Hi TC!

I'm on ship in Dublin - building my TBD-1 Devastator - she's all together, canopy to mask (which did I pick an plane with 34 windows!) - then when I get home on Thursday she'll be ready for spraying

Sorry no photos from ship!

Merry Christmas,

Steve

Just waiting for the wind to drop and the temp to stay mild to spray mine with primer - hopefully tomorrow.
