Cold War GB - 1945 to 1991

Post by Flyingmonster » Tue Apr 03, 2012 11:32 pm

The Cold War GB is now live!! :thumb:
The GB will run from Today until the 15/07/12 and can include any Aircraft from any country involved :thumb: :thumb:

The Cold War, on paper, lasted from 1945 to 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed. So you can pretty much include everything that happened in that time period, as most ultimately link back to the tensions between east and west.

So i could come in with a double build from the Korean War?

I was also considering a Lightning and another Phantom but the Lightning seems to be covered already! I might just wait for a soon to be released Airfix kit that i believe is coming with applicable decals.

Korea counts mate. I'll be sticking with just the 2 bare metal lightnings, if that helps?

Why not, the Cuban Missile Crisis was part of the Cold War. Yes, I'm old enough to remember it....

FTS,
I want to keep my Lightning for when i have enough for the full set anyway.

Looks like last years Club Kit from Airfix is about to jump out the stash so i can build a Sabre and MIG-15.
