OOB GB (Try saying that quickly after a few sherbets.... :D )

617 Sqn Anniversary GB

`Train to Fly` GB (Felt it needed a snazzy title :D )

Soviet GB

Anymore ideas or `seconded` before I pick one..... (We don`t do `democracy` here... )
I said Russian GB TC! Not Soviet! God! In all seriousness though a Soviet GB would then rule out any modern builds because the USSR is now gone, unless Putin gets his way...

Well I can do OOB GB or Train to Fly easily enough. 617 means buying a kit I'd not particularly want and may I suggest that if the last choice is chosen (does that even make sense?) we call it Soviet/Russian to give more opportunities 'cos I'll have to buy for that too.

But Soviet sounds so much nicer than Russian Steve... (think marketing.. )

Anyway I don`t think there are that many new types in service from the good ol Soviet days....

Ok, by all accounts, it seems that the Soviet/Russian, (what ever you want to call it), theme has a good support level.

Now for those of you who liked the Trainer suggestion, I think you will find that there are plenty of Russian trainer types out there that need to be done and could be included, so that should put a smile on your face. ;)

These builds will all be OOB anyway, so that should make the OOB GB supporters happy.

And if your skint like me, remember the Russians operated a number of non Russian made types as FTS pointed out, so that Spitfire or Hurricane that never gets made, can now find a new lease of life with a Red Star on it.

........ talking of which, stuff the Soviet or Russian branding.....

...... Welcome all to the RED STAR GB ........

Rules and a start date will shortly be posted. (If anyone would like to donate a prize for the eventual winner, that would be grand).
