Points noted and taken, however I would have thought that not going out and buying a kit that you dont want to build would apply to any group build.

For example I have no interest in WWI so I would not buy a kit just to enter, I would also think long and hard about WWII since I dont normally build those either.

Just my thoughts but happy to go along with the majority

I suppose, couldn't participate in the Display Teams one, don't have any display team models, but quote like the RAF Through the years one... All my models in the stash are RAF!

I would be fine with WW2 with my BBMF Collection in the stash although WW1 would be tricky :D

Hi all,

Been lurking in the background, how about a decade. For example types in service with the RAF in the 80's - this gives lightning, hunters, hawks, JP, Hercules, nimrod, tornado f2, tornado gr1, phantom, bucanneer, harrier, jaguar, wessex, whirlwind, seaking etc etc

Alot of choices, and should fit everyone's stash!

Canon 7D2, 100-400mm IS L lense, Icom R6 and alot of luck!

Anymore for anymore chaps?

My suggestions are going to be the following.....,

How about a `Soviet`ise It` GB. Ok, it`s a little whiffish, but I`m thinking any western aircraft in Soviet scheme. A Tornado GR.4 with a red star?

Or perhaps an `American`ise` It` GB. Any British aircraft in US scheme? Perhaps a Hawker Typhoon with a Star`n`Bar?

How about a WWII WIF?

Either side (axis or allies) anything from a simple colour scheme change to a full blown conversion.

I'd be happy to participate with some fictional Corsair schemes. I really enjoyed building my last 2 and they get plenty of attention at shows so i'd like to build some more. Blue Angels F4U anyone?
