Oh and apparently West Mercia Police will be shutting the road behind RAPRA at the South side of the airfield, to keep public away and out of the fields. However the North end will be as per usual for viewing.

Don't know where you're getting your info from - but Shrophire Council only mention the 'expected' closure of the A464 for the display.

What would be the advantage of closing a road at Shawbury? There's no display being held or 'Red Box' to infringe...

The Typhoon is in Finland on the Friday so I would imagine it will arrive at Shawbury late Saturday?

NOTAM says the Reds are arriving at 11am Sunday. Leave for Welshpool and Cosford at 13.40 and back to Scampton at 16.40.

I have 8 out of the 9 that arrived at Shawbury after their display at Cosford...

Will the North End be open as usual in 2018 or is that going to be closed off too.
