From a quick visit to Shawbury between 10.15 and 11.15 this morning, the following were noted on the aprons or flying locally:

One of the hangars by Sandy Lane/Runway 05 threshold was open and inside I could see two black Hawks and one Red Arrows Hawk to the right but couldn't read the serials. The black hawks seemed to be having their canopies removed and when I drove past the main gate a flatbed truck came out with two hawk canopies on the back: they looked intact so not sure what the story was there.

Not seen by me but visiting briefly from c.13.10 was Chinook Vortex 262 which did a talkdown approach on R23. It left for Woodvale afterwards and was confirmed there as ZH895.
