Hi does anyone know if the Chinooks are likely to be about this evening? Im passing Shawbury and was wondering if it is worth stopping a while?

According to a friend,this morning there where the detached 4 chinooks and 3visiting chinooks.will be worth a stop I would say.

Sounds good to me, Even better if they are flying! Next question then, where is the best vantage point of the field for comings and goings? I dont want to be an inconvenience to land owners, given that it will be dark o' clock when I pass.

Have heard that the chinooks will not be venturing to shawbury for deployment and there is rumour of replacement by two islanders Not confirmed but a little birdie told me!
