Should be MAK on the nose, 214 on the tail.

Yesterday, 6 August, late afternoon 165739/QB was outside next to QEAF 214. Hangar to the left was wide open and looked like a USMC Herc with no engines nose on. Any ideas please?

Just wondering if anyone knows what is outside this evening.

At around 16:30 BST, at the tower there were Qatari 214/MAK and USMC 165739/QB, the latter had a few detachable parts missing.
Also there was Indian KC-3806 at C4/5 that was due to depart today but got tech. The departure was eventually canceled and the crew left the aircraft. I did not stay to see whether it was left outside for the weekend or hangared.

Called in here this morning at 11 am...noted were...

Indian AF Herc KC3806

Us Navy Herc 5739 with tail rudder missing parked outside.

To the left of the Indian Herc the large hangar door was open...in side nose on a Herc possibly US Navy?

To the left of this was a US Navy Herc code on nose ending in a 6.

Outside another 13 Herc tails visible...one a different,darker colour to the rest and one had a special tail markings blue with 56 Years.

If anyone can help with the Hercs in the hangar and outside it would be very much appreciated.

Earlier in the week I watched 169226 being pushed back to the left hand side of the large hangar door directly behind the tower. Maybe this is the one you are looking to ID

Another long shot!
On making a quick visit on Tues 6th Aug around 17.00,we noted a bare metal KC-130J,on the RHS of the hangar behind the tower,viewed from the crash date on Airport Way nearest to the A1303 roundabout,(Grey nose).
Does anyone know its ID.

That was the same one I saw on Saturday...all metal with a grey nose...got a descent pole on it but no markings showing.
