170273 was visible in the open hangar door - tug attached

Another Herc with a black nose we were kindly told was 211 Qatar could also be seen in the same hangar

During a quick visit around 9:15am today I observed 8 x RAF Hercs parked in 2 groups of 4.
6 of the 8 were read off: ZH865 / 869 / 870 / 871 / 872 / 878. (One of the 8 appeared to have no serial number visible on the tail).
For completeness can anyone confirm the ID’s of the 2 I didn’t get?

There were 10 ex RAF Hercs outside this morning. You probably have missed two on the side of H17. One with the hidden serial number is probably ZH888.

No worries. Ten Hercs were parked outside all last week. The two on the side of H17 are behind GRE and only visible from Barnwell Drive and also an old gate on Rosemary lane.
PS A Herc in the front of H17 in the old (lighter green) paint and the intact tail probably was ZH867.

USMC KC-13J 168065 was in GRE in the afternoon.
