Hi Guys
As I have said before I am a relative novice when it comes to certain forms of military aviation.
I have noticed before, and again today members refering to "Islander Flights" on the forum, and the reaction that it gets from members, What are these flights? and what are they about?
Sorry if this seems a stupid question, but my curiosity has got the better of me and I feel the need to find out more!
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....
Islander Flights
Re: Islander Flights
Many Thanks for the Reply nw. Have you or any other members seen, or compiled a list of what Flight Names mean? I am well aware of many of the USAF Flight Names, and feel It could benefit myself and some of the "newbie" members.
Re: Islander Flights
Like the "Milscanners" link in the top-right corner?

Re: Islander Flights
Hi Chris, That is what I mean!
I have been a member for a little while and have never even noticed that link

Chris, don't be sarcastic, that's one route we don't want the Newbie Forum going down.ChrisGlobe wrote:Like the "Milscanners" link in the top-right corner?

I think yankwatcher got the good natured humour in my post. Clearly you did not.
Re: Islander Flights
spylander flights are 24/7 out of northolt and are not always put on due to the high level of security, however just because it's orbiting overhead is not indicative of their live targets.
