Plane plotter help!!!

Hi all im thinking of getting plane plotter but i have no idea where to start with it. I will be using it by using other users radars over the internet but what do i have to do to set it up correctly i.e to be able to see military aircraft on it ? All help will be appreciated.

You pay an anual fee for Mlat, which is approx £12 - £15 pounds approx (if I recall).
Well worth every penny.

*Edit, there is one downfall - I never get an much work done as I perhaps should

Thanks for all your help is it something like £30 for plane plotter + £12 for MLAT ?
