U2 at Fairford

Hi guys,
Just a quick one, just on the phone to my girlfriend 6:20 pm Wed 23rd Nov who lives in Kempsford and she has just gone out in the garden for me to hear the U2 take off as it shook the house lol. Can anyone tell me what time turn around it has to return back to Fairford if it is flying to Afghanistan as I finish work at 9am tomorrow and will be going to Kempsford so would love to get a photo of it.

Hi Simon,

No U-2s are at Fairford presently, so I'm not too sure what she heard, however they don't operate from Fairford, they use it as a stop off point between the Middle East/Europe and the US.

I would guess it was brize traffic I am sure the outbound traffic flight route is very close to Fairford
