Military flight tracking
Re: Military flight tracking
Wanted to set up my own receiver but we an all Mac household, might have to look at the Raspberry Pi route when I get some time off work, is it fairly simple?

Re: Military flight tracking
I have not got a clue when it comes to a Pi, although when set up it sounds like the best way of running it long term, if you plan on using an external or lol mounted antenna you can save on signal loss through the use of long lengths of coax by putting the Pi near the antenna. Some people have even mast mounted the Pi.
The best thing I can do is send you a link for the instructions for installing 360radar on a Pi, you may be able to get a better idea of how long it would take (I have not read them myself) but here is the link: http://radar.lowflyingwales.co.uk/insta ... pberry-pi/
