I'm new to the forum and fairly new to "aviation spotting" as a whole so forgive me for not knowing what some may think of as obvious
I have been spotting civil for around a year but have only been spotting military for around 6 months after a friend took me to Mildenhall shortly before sunset, what an awesome sight that was!
A question I have been wanting to ask for ages is as follows, I live in Mexborough and fairly often (usually evening time) there is a military helicopter passing overhead either due north or due south at a fairly low altitude; does anyone have any idea where this may be to and from? It is usually a Lynx but sometimes there is more than 1!
