After watching from the sidelines for many years, I thought I’d do the decent thing and post. (plus the fact I’m locked out of Heads Up!) To give you an idea of my vintage I’m able to report that some 48 years ago on 26/10/73 the following did overshoots at Coningsby, all coded AR from the 10TRW at Alconbury: 41033 (32TRS) 41073 (1TRS) and 60421 (32TRS).
Great days.
Kind regards

Re: About time !
Hi T1. Well here’s my first recorded sighting, 7/5/64, C-124C 20980, 436 MAW 20 TAS. I’m afraid the black and white photo has long since turned sepia and gone to the gallery in the sky !
Kind regards

Wow... MAW... TAS... they were the days... a tad before I started though... back in 1983 at IAT Greenham Common when I logged my first serials.
Looking forward to seeing a few of your photos

Re: About time !
Welcome to the excellent forum.
My first log was back in 1969 at Hurn with 4 x South Yemen Strikemasters, an Abu Dhabi Caribou (all at Airwork Services) together with overflight MAC traffic and the resident Scimitars and Meteors of FRADU. God those were good days so welcome aboard and join the many like-minded folk
