Yupiteru MVT-7100

Post by Rummy » Thu Dec 02, 2021 11:49 am

Hi , I have an old MVT7100 in good condition but the capacitor that stores frequencies whilst changing batteries has packed up. I know I can just re-enter them but wondered if anyone knows of a reasonable repair company?

i had the same problem i replaced the capacitor and it still dropped frqs so thought i had a faulty one and replaced it again same problem again on closer inspection on the circuit board there are four wires two to the speaker and two to the battery connections these two were brittle so i shortened them soldered back on circuit board and 12months on no problems at all just like new.

I can recommend this chap for Yupi repairs. Just fixed both of my 7100s in November this year.

Just thought I would ask instead of starting a new topic anyone from Edinburgh on here know of a repair company in Edinburgh which just in case anything happens with my MVT-7100 I could go to for repairs? Just thought I would ask?

Seconded, James brought my Yupi 7000 and AOR 2002 back to life last year. Took about two months from first contact to return.
