New Member in Cornwall

Just a quick introduction from me. I currently live in Truro in the centre of Cornwall and have been interested in aviation since I was a young lad and lived in Barnes, South West London approx 10 miles from the end of the runway at Heathrow. After marrying we moved to Frimley in Surrey, which was a couple of miles from Farnborough when it was still mainly RAE traffic.
Obviously I see a lot of Royal Navy Helicopters traffic along with occasional Military ILS training at Newquay.

I spent some time in your lovely area when I served at St Mawgan on the Sea King HAR 3/3a fleet.
Truro is beautiful; we look forward to seeing your input in the future.

Yes I agree with reheat module ref Truro and Cornwall.
I have spent many holidays down in your beautiful area from the early 90s up to the present day... watching the Gazelles, Sea Kings and Jetstreams in the 90s through to the modern but quieter Culdrose of today.
Hope you enjoy the forum and if you have any questions or need help just ask... the guys on here have an amazing knowledge of all things aviation.
