Hi All

I was just wondering how people seem to know what is coming in and when at certain airfields ?

Some people clearly work in the industry, as can been seen by the pics they submit, but how do others get their info.

I need all the help I can get as the story below will suggest

A few years ago I went to lakenheath for a bit of spotting on mid week day off work.

As I passed the main gate I could see a fun fair inside but paid it no attention.
I pulled into a deserted spotters car, no a bit confused.
Everywhere very quiet.
Looked through bino's and notice gates closed across taxiway opposite, very strange I thought.

Looked at watch and noticed date..................

Yup you guessed it..................... 4th JULY !!!!
