Thanks Everyone, I don't come on the forums very much but like the photos here and have spoken to mike B about his U2 article a bit, and as you talked about me I said I would reply.
You were all right when you said I was lucky as since that day, I have been flying quite a lot and got invited to America to stay the Major Cabigas (who flew James May) and had a visit to where the dragons live and met hundreds of great people, which was awesome and I didn't want to come home. I flew some cool planes including Cabi's Cub which as really amazing because you feel every bit of flying and also a really nice 150 with another pilot. Major Cabigas and his family were awesome to me. And one of Cabi's friends (Martin) got me flying in the U.K and is a brilliant pilot and teaches me amazing flying stuff and the physics of flying.
I love the U2 because its unique and there is nothing else like it, lots of things are different to other planes and you actually have to fly it properly, lots of trimming and flying with your feet rather than computers doing it. also it is really only for the best pilots as you have to be very precise with things like coffin corner and landing it (which is tricky) after a really long mission in a space suit. I also like reading about the science of it Hypoxia, DCS etc. So much is different and what is different I like. The pilots are awesome and brave aviators to do all of that so well and I respect them very much.
I Have just finished 50 years of the U2 by Chris Pocock, when my teacher looks at what I read she is surprised, my friends read Tracy Beaker and I read about Russian over-flights.
I am looking forward to the next two weeks! 2 airshows in 2 weeks

but would rather see one U2 than a hundred other aeroplanes, that's how much I like them.
I hope to post the WW2 photos soon (the man hasn't a computer so I have to write to him by snail mail) but hope to show them as there is some interesting photos, I can remember some crashed Japanese planes and American bombers.
Thanks Everyone
