Bit of a long shot but have a few blanks in my logs from a few brief stops in the beginning of May 2001.
Kileen RAP, I have a UH-1 listed as 04 Mexico.
Fort Hood, CH-47 ending 386.
Waco RAP, EP-3 coded or serial ending 24.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Texas May 2001 Queries
Re: Texas May 2001 Queries
Forgot to add Peru AF C-130 381 at Waco. 381 doesn't appear to be a correct serial

For info VQ-2 were operating EP-3E 156529 with code '24' in the summer of 2000 & it was still wearing that code in February 2006, as the pic at the URL below would indicate - so this might have been what you saw?Waco RAP, EP-3 coded or serial ending 24.

Thanks for the info DickFlute. Certainly looks promising.
Re: Texas May 2001 Queries
Scramble database has : https://www.scramble.nl/database/military/pe#results
381 OB-1394 C-130A c/n 3057 l/n 1994
However C-130.net has : https://www.c-130.net/aircraft-database ... orce/FAPe/
c/n 3057 as being 385 Ex. 55-030 while Scramble.nl has 385 as c/n 3091 !
As for the Mexican UH-1 BARG/NAMAR Feb-2000 has :
"A number of ex FA Mexican a UH-1H' s were in a compound with Dyn-Corp here during October . These are some of the 73 helicopters being
recovered from Chihuahua, Mexico by Fort Hood Project OLR, which is an AMCOM unit which supports US Army aviation logistics
(note the OLR doesn't actually stand for anything). Project OLR has facilities at Killeen and San Angelo which are sub-contracted to Dyn-Corp
and they are currently upgrading ARNG helicopters in their regional area (GPS for AH-64A, OH- 58D, HUD for UH- 60 etc) as well as refurbishing
ex-AMARC UH-1H's for Argentina and Uruguay .
FA Mexicana helicopters identified were:
UH-lH 1501, 1507, 1513, 1514. 1518. 1519, 1520, 1524, 1529, 1530, 1531, 1534,
1537, 1541, 1559, 1565, 1567, 1574 ..
The aircraft are presumably EBREH -1501 to 1574 (74 a/c - one crashed in FAM service during
March 1998) "
381 OB-1394 C-130A c/n 3057 l/n 1994

Re: Texas May 2001 Queries
Thanks for the info about the Mexican UH-1.
I did find the Peru AF C-130 a bit of a puzzle. Used C-130.net and Scramble.nl and came up with the same results as yourself.Just hoping it was a mis read.

Re: Texas May 2001 Queries
Possibly helping with the confusion regarding the Peruvian C-130 from http://www.joebaugher.com/usaf_serials/1955.html
55-030 (MSN 182-3057) to Peruvian Air Force as FAP-385. WFU by 2001. Wings removed, fuselage now in
storage at FAP Group 8 base, Lima international airport since Jul 2001
55-025 (MSN 182-3052) to Peruvian Navy as AT-531. Transferred to Peruvian Air Force as
FAP-381. Received alternate civil registration OB-1394 in 1987. Sold on civil market as N226LS.
To Lester Surall Evangelistic Association as N226LS in 1990. To Raytheon E Systems as N226LS in 2000. Sold
to GIA International, Ltd May 2002. Under restoration at Chandler Jun 2003.
as N130HGL, registered to GIA International as N226LS as of Feb 2004. Registration
N226LS cancelled by FAA Jul 26, 2006 on sale to owner in Central
African Republic. To TL-KNK
I found photo's of said aircraft taken in 1991 and 2002 and it most definitely was not marked as Peruvian or 381 at these times.
1991 https://www.airhistory.net/photo/346134/N226LS
2002 https://www.aerialvisuals.ca/AirframeDo ... rial=37903
I don't have any magazines that cover 2001/2002 so no logs from then. I'm thinking it may have been a mis-pole for another Peruvian C-130 as I believe Raytheon Systems had a facility in Waco that did work on C-130's among others at that time.
