G222 46-30/GAF Tonka

Post by urkles » Fri Oct 28, 2011 11:01 am

Hi guys,

Going through my scans of ITAF stuff today and have a pic of a G222 coded at 46-30 as a visiting transport at IAT Fairford 1991. Anyone know the serial?

Also found a shot of a German Tornado taken about the 24/25th April at RAF Honington (When the 96 french were in!) which looks like 43+17?

Hi Scarecrow, it was 1990. This was the reason I asked because it seems to be a misread on my part, of course the early were TTTE so I must be wrong. Here is the shot heavy cropped and a bit vague!

Luckily I recieved my logs back yesterday after they had been used in a research project and confirm exactly what you said in the last post. It must have been 46+18. Which I had recorded anyway, just wanted a serial for the photo, I got 43+26 the next day and they were both JBG 38.

Thanks for your help, we must have crossed paths this April week 21 years ago!
