Post by loadmaster100 » Mon Apr 09, 2012 9:10 am

Hi, could somebody please help with confirmation from their log for the following. 20/9/75 Biggin Hill Battle Of Britain Day. I have logged 2 x Etendard IVM with serials No 5 & 66. Scramble report them as 3 & 56. Also I have logged P de F CM170 with No. 575 but Scramble have it as 555, can anybody confirm if 555 was ever a P de F aircraft. Thanks in advance for any help. Regards Dave

Hi Dave,
I didn't go to this show but BAR report these as 3 & 56. SEAR report them as 3 & 36!!
I can confirm that 555 was a P de F CM-170, I logged it as 555/VA at the Mildenhall show in May'77.

cheers,
Graham

My understanding is as follows. If you know different please enlighten us !

Biggin 1975 Etendards were 3 and 56 with Navajo 931

Biggin 1976 Etendards were 5 and 66

Magisters in 1975 were 564,545,562,561,541,576 and 555

Magisters in 1976 were 529,533,535,544,545,561,564,576 and one often reported as 585 which I believe is 538 (VR).

I am still trying to find a comprehensive list for the 1973, 1974 and 1975 shows. Is anyone able to help?

Mark
