Red Arrows serials - Cosford 11th May 1980

It's wet, it's boring - but here's one to get you digging into those old logs!

The subject header really says it all... does anyone out there have a list (partial or complete) of the aircraft at this (very early) display with the then new Hawks.

I'd be interested to see if any one can add to XX227 - which was the only one I managed to read off! :blush:

Have had a look at Scramble, serials for everything...................except the 9 Reds !!

I was at Biggin 6 days later and the following were there :-

XX227, 251, 252, 253, 257, 259, 260, 262 (didn't come back - as it hit a yacht's mast at Brighton), 264 & 266.

No help at all............I know !! :lol:
