Lakenheath 24/05/1987 (Mildenhall airshow day)

Hi all

After attending the Mildenhall air show on 24th May 1987 I called in at Lakenheath where I saw a C-130 and 6 KC-135s, 4 of which I was able to log. Does anyone have a log of this day? These were probably aircraft re-positioned from Mildenhall for operational readiness I guess.

What were the serials of the four you were able to log?

While BARG doesn't have a full log for that day, they do have this:

"while most of the tankers present late in the month were moved here for the duration of the air show at Mildenhall."

All 6 135’s mentioned in Barg were present on the Sat morning 23rd at Lakenheath. Landing over Mildenhall on the Sat into Lakenheath were a TJ F-16, 161323 C-12 USN and a GA ang C-130 00332
