Just had a phone call asking if i was spotting in 1969 the answer to which was yes but with a proviso
Caller s question ,had i ever seen F-102 56-1028.
He had logged it at Bentwaters 1969 date unknown (not much help i know)
Also asking for serials of 2 F-101s seen but not read off on the same day
The F-101s i can only assume where from Upper Heyford and were of the RF variety as being the last unit in Europe, unless anyone knows different.
Any info no matter how small always appreciated
Thank you in advance.

Re: Bentwaters 1969
I never saw 56-1028 but its records show it served with the 32ndFIS 1960 to 1969, returning to the USA in July of that year for re assignment to the ANG.
You're right about the Voodoo's being from Upper Heyford which at the start of 1969 had approximately 36 RF-101C's on strength with the 66thTRW, if memory serves me correctly.
