Did anyone manage to get a glimpse of the B-2's today? Misty 11 & Misty 12 (albeit at FL 110)

Everyone has a photographic memory; some just don't have film.

Valley was fogged in most of yesterday morning so doubt itroughcutter wrote: ↑Tue Mar 17, 2020 6:28 pmDid anyone manage to get a glimpse of the B-2's today? Misty 11 & Misty 12 (albeit at FL 110)![]()

Re: AMRO coming & goings on VAS apron
It was fogged in on its route north, and it was overcast in the afternoon when it went south! if it does the dame route today, it looks like the same weather again.
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

Sod's law I guess, it was good to follow them on the scanner (just wish they could use their s-bands now and then so we could see them on 360Ianto31 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 10:32 amValley was fogged in most of yesterday morning so doubt itroughcutter wrote: ↑Tue Mar 17, 2020 6:28 pmDid anyone manage to get a glimpse of the B-2's today? Re: AMRO coming & goings on VAS apron
sorry for being pedantic but a typo... should be XX256/846-CU. Just to clarify were all these for AMRO? (except XX348 of course which was already there). Seems like a classic "waiting for a bus" scenario!Bluerigger1 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2020 10:25 amXX161 / 161 arrived this morning, later Joined by XX205 / CK, XX317 / 849-CU and XX356 / 846 - CU. Re: AMRO coming & goings on VAS apron
XX318/CG noted up on airtest late am today (21/7/20) showing callsign "Pirate 17". I noted it out on VAS apron at Valley, on 10/7/20 with APU/GTS dorsal spine panel removed and EGR intake guards fitted, presume for APU/low power engine ground runs.
Re: AMRO coming & goings on VAS apron
XX203/CF (arrival date at AMRO u/k) airtest 10/8 ("Pirate 17" again, up 1105-50L. adsb exchange was showing it at 42,800ft just west of Menai Bridge @ 1120L). Departed with XX346/CP @ 1510L as "Savage", with "CP" (which had arr around 10am).
Re: AMRO update
Bit of a long shot, but is there any update to this list? I know XX177 is with the Reds, think XX187 went to Shawbury, XX189 w/o in 2021, XX198 to Shawbury, XX221 back again after leaving for a short while, XX239 with the Reds, XX348 to Shawbury. Is XX316 still there? MTIABluerigger1 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 11:46 amJust to clear things up a bit, as of 30 Jan the following aircraft are In the AMRO hangar :-
