Hi All

I`v been looking but I can`t find the info anywhere.
I`m in need of a list of Hawk tail numbers for 208(R) Sqn so I can tie up my
pictures from the Mach loop over the past few years.

Many thanks
Mike T

Mike,

The Hawk T1 fleet regularly swap squadrons. 19, 100, 208, Royal Navy and the Red arrows. The planes move around.

Just asking for a fleet of 208 jets is not as simple as that.

But if you have photos, then identification is easy as they usually have 208 squadron markings on

Hope this helps

Cheers

Steve

Was referring to the passing around of T1 units

I would disagree with Steve.
Until the disbanding of 19 and then 208 Sqn, there was relatively little swap around between units.
Even during major servicing, airframes from the active fleet have generally gone back to their original units

208 Sqn aeroplanes are now getting dispersed, of course.
Unfortunately for Mike, as stated above there isn't a code, he just has to look out for the actual identity.
