Qatar Typhoon approach and 28 Sqn Chinooks arrive

Qatar AF Typhoon did an approach today. Information from the Warton Fighter Control page :-

"ZR521/QA420/MS017 “Tarnish 15” (Typhoon/QEAF) Depart R.07 via performance takeoff for PFAT9/9th flight. Sortie include PD using R.13 at RAF Vallet at 15:10. On return SRA/Talkdown R.07 for low approach at 15:49, extended downwind on SRA for Go Around at 15:55, out for SRA to land at 16:03

X2 Chinooks from 28 Sqn arrived for their annual training detachment. Should be active in the area for the next couple of weeks according to the RAF Valley Facebook page.
