Visited Montrose on Thursday with grand kids (only about 20 miles away) for first time since the open day in I think 2019.Its a great place to visit with Spitfire replica and a Meteor outside along with some examples of airfield defences ie Radar AA gun and pill box.The internal displays cover things from an Anson rebuild to an ex 2 Squadron Tornado.Other hangars have WWI replicas and a moving memorial section covering both military and animal hero s.Definetly worth visiting.
Quite a few things to amuse the younger ones as well.Been there a few times and it gets better all the time.
