East Fortune visit

Post by Unknown74 » Sun Sep 26, 2021 12:15 pm

Hi guys after a good few Years having not visited East Fortune a couple of relatives and I took a trip down to the Museum which I really enjoyed and since last visit I was really impressed by the reorganisation which has taken place, I did wonder where the US Navy Phantom, Nimrod Forward Fuselage and the RAF Buccaneer were and wether there was going to be any renovation work likely on the Comet and Vulcan? My highlights were the Concorde (always), The Red Arrows Hawk, Spitfire and Tornado F.3 amongst others (always love that Lightning).

Again as an Edinburgh resident myself a visit to East Fortune is a must and I recommend it to anyone.

So that's what must be in the Conservation hangar which I was convinced was where the Fast Jets were? Am I right they changed all the jets like the Harrier , Tornado, Lightning and Jaguar to another hangar?
