In the hills for the last two days, and missed a few IDs, both through the loop and OTT. Can anyone help with:
31st:
shadow R1 calling WIDGET01
Sea King HAR3 looked like ZE368, but we have this as a Falklands aircraft?
Boscombe Tornado F3 through the loop about 3:45pm
Hawk just before the F3, two passes.
1st September
Typhoon T3 aborted the loop AM, was a 11 squadron airframe
Typhoon T3 through the loop PM, was a 3 squadron airframe
Many thanks,
Ben

Much obliged guys!
Just checked my Sea King shot on my desktop screen, and it definitely looks like ZE368, so I guess it must be back from the Falklands?

Hi Ben,
ZE368 - yes I think I saw that at Valley last week, will have to check though. Airframes don't spend much time down there - you would be suprised how much they rotate them about, even in the UK. I think valley has had about 18 or 19 in the last 2 years.
Update: Checked the very useful BMAL website and it is based at valley, last reported seen on the 1st September 2011.
Cheers
Steve
