KC-135 OTT Grantham 20.04.22

Post by Everett1285 » Wed Apr 20, 2022 8:14 am

Hi,
Can anyone please help confirm the identity of a KC135 and it's current operating unit that flew over Grantham this morning at approximately 08.20 am heading in a southerly direction. Flightradar 24 suggests 58.0057 KC-135T 'Reach 857' coming out of Sioux City and destination being Mildenhall which would suggest it belonging to the 185 ARW. Any help would be much appreciated.

See

At least four IA ANG (185ARW) KC-135 have crossed the Atlantic overnight.

58-0057 (as "RCH857") went into Mildenhall, I think 58-0067 (as "RCH809") which was close behind it also went into Mildenhall, but I didn't pay that much attention to be honest. The 3rd and 4th ones were showing as 62-3566 (as "RCH866") and 57-1441 (as "RCH841"), both of which looked to be headed for Germany, possibly Geilenkirchen. All 4 should be from 185ARW, 174ARS, Iowa ANG.
