Everett (KPAE): KC-46A
Everett (KPAE): KC-46A
I visited Everett on 1st June. One KC-46A on the flight line was wearing N5022E taped over the USAF serial on the tail, and the nwd was hidden by ground equipment. Does anyone have a tie up for this one please?

Looks like -46074
FY 20 covers a/c 46072 to 46083 inclusive
Re: Everett (KPAE): KC-46A
Many thanks. 06072/3 and 6 were elsewhere, so that would fit. Line number 1271 looked like it had just been rolled out - not yet painted.

No problem. Glad to help.
Keep an eye on the KC-46 thread in the Fighter Control Mess
First sightings, test flights and deliveries are usually reported there along with other program related news/links
It might be an idea if you could please post a summary of which KC-46''s you saw there to keep that thread accurate/up to date
BTW that civ. test reg..is a Boeing one and frequently reallocated - All I did was to do a Google search for the reg. then clicked the Images tab
When I found a side-on photo I zoomed in on the nwd. It was a bit fuzzy but looked like _74

As far as I know 46075 has not been seen either yet. I still have queries with ln 1259 and now ln 1271. Have seen 20-46076 but its ln is unknown at the moment. could the Japanese have some of these?Evergreen 44 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 10:15 pmLooks like -46074

Hi Tally
This discussion is probably getting to the stage where it would be better in the main KC-46A thread, but just to confirm there was no sign of 46075 at Everett on 1 June. Those on the flightline that day were 96007, 56010, 06072 and N5022E (believed to be 06074 (ln 1259?) as above in this thread though I have so far failed to find the photo to which Evergreen 44 refers). Outside the EMC were ln 1092, ln 1100, 06073 and 06076. ln 1271 was in primer on the ramp at 40-51 presumably having very recently been rolled out. As a by the by, I'd be interested to learn which line numbers between ln 1263 (which I have seen referenced elsewhere as 06076) and ln 1271 are referable to KC-46As?

Re: Everett (KPAE): KC-46A
Was at Everett 13th and 24th May. On these dates we were able to read the nosewheel door on N5022E and it was 071.
Other newer one present were 20-46072, 75 and 76 with line number 1275 (thought to be 81) in green primer.

Many thanks for the confirmation of N5022E’s identity Heartsman.heartsman53 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 08, 2022 8:21 amWas at Everett 13th and 24th May. On these dates we were able to read the nosewheel door on N5022E and it was 071.
