Info Beijing Museums

Just in case any body is planning on visiting the above over the next few weeks

It has been advised the Museum of China Aviation Datangshan is closed until end of November

the Civil Aviation Museum near Beijing airport is also closed until end of September

bad news for me as I had a visit to both planned for early September as part of my none spotting trip into China

We was in Beijing May and went to Datangshan only to be told on gate it was closed and not open again til end of June 2019.Needless to say i was pretty hacked off!!!,To put it politely,No information was given as loads of locals were turned away also.As it happens we plan on going back to Beijing within a couple of years anyway as i want to do Danxing and go back to Nanyuan,So unfinished business for myself as well.On a brighter note i mopped up a few odds and sods in the town which do not get reported very often.
