She was also over Cottesmore at approx 15.00pm when i passed by on the A1, a very nice suprise it was too.

She was flying straight down the runway and pulling up, banking right and turning in again to do the same.

As i approached from the South heading North she did 3 of these approaches and was on her 4th as got passed the field. The traffic on the A1 slowed up to take a look at her and the laybys were full of cars and people taking photos on their phones and cameras.

Fantastic sight, great to see the lady back in the air were she belongs and a great effort from the VTS Team for getting her back to flying status in such a short time.

That tail is extremly low and it may have even touched the ground if you look at it. The same happened at Farnborough and I'm no expert on this but I would say that is too low as surely if it does touch, damage will be done to the airframe?? :S

Except that there is a sacrificial fairing for just such an occurence!

Biglamp,love the one climbing away and the glint on the fuselage...for obvious reasons ;-)
