Hi All,
Just wanted to know if anyone has a confirmed time for 558's display slot at Clacton on Thurs 23rd?
I heard 558 is closing the show, but would like to know roughly what time this is scheduled for.
I am working on Thurs & cant make the whole show, so want to knock off early to get there for 558.
Cheers,
TankBuster

Clacton Times ?
And there's plenty more where that came from!
Re: Clacton Times ?
I read on their website the show is open 11-5 and flying starts from 2pm.
Not sure if that's any help.

'558 is booked to do a 6min mini-show at RAF Wattisham on its way to Clacton, so i'd guess if it all runs to time it'll be around the 4:15pm-4:30pm sort of time.
Hope this helps ya plan your day!

Thanks for the info, thats very useful
.
Following the Wattisham display If 558 then takes a direct route to Clacton then there's a very good chance she will go over my house?
If 558 runs in to display from the right as she has done at other seafront shows then I reckon she will hold prior to display over the mouth of the River Colne in the St Osyth / Brightlingsea area with a bit of luck! Thats a nice viewing area for me, so I might not need to go to Clacton afterall?
Fingers crossed!

WOW! What a great display at Clacton. I think that 558 was the Clacton Airshow
.
Gracefully flying around the Gunfleet Windfarm like a lady & then ROARRRR into a climb howling like a banshee... Off go the car alarms
A brilliant afternoon & well worth the 14 mile bike ride.

Has any body an idea of the call sign today, as I heard Delta Delta calling Waddington holding over Swinderby late afternoon, XH558 was seen over Skellingthorpe.
I had hoped to see here hence scanner on.Not seen her this year.
Cheers Gordon
